Strength without spellcraft
Orcs are counted among Aethelgard’s non-magical peoples, yet their bodies possess extraordinary natural advantages. Great physical strength and rapid regeneration make them difficult to break, but these traits are innate physical gifts rather than spellcraft. Orcs are a clear example of raw bodily power remaining strategically significant in a world shaped by magic.
Orcish communities have repeatedly adapted that endurance to harsh landscapes and demanding forms of labour and warfare. Their identity is not a magical one: strength, resilience and the capacity to survive conditions that would overwhelm many other mortals are the qualities through which Orcs most visibly shape Aethelgard.
