Concordia has fallen under Supreme Commander Valitra’s iron rule, the Chroniclers have been driven into exile, and Magicians fleeing persecution have raised Arcanum on the Sunken Coast. Lord Voltanis has returned, but the new Celestial War has not yet erupted.

Concordia commands the great river delta at the western foot of the Whispering Peaks, where waterways and bridges bind four historic districts around the civic heart of the City of Harmony. Humans, Dwarves, Magicians and Elves share this strategic crossroads, but the balance that once defined the city has fractured. The Council of Four Voices has been displaced, and Aeterna military authority now dominates public life through the Iron Legion, leaving a prosperous and formidable metropolis under an increasingly coercive order.
