Defining the boundaries of existence

At the dawn of creation, Astraia opened her cosmic eye and drew the first boundaries between what exists and what does not, establishing the firmament above, the abyss below and the laws of space between them.

A fatal misjudgment

Sent to investigate Voltanis, Astraia accepted his claim that Valitra’s absolute rule posed the greater danger to the world. Acting without the Council’s knowledge, she made a secret pact with him and used a Tier Five Divine Edict to erase Valitra from life in Edict 3251.

The act helped ignite Ragnarok. Voltanis immediately broke their agreement, used stolen knowledge to bind Astraia’s power and carried her away as a prisoner.

Imprisoned in Khaosgard

Astraia spent nearly a century powerless in Khaosgard. She refused Viridar’s attempts to win her cooperation and eventually entrusted Archon Solara with a token of her space divinity, giving Solara the proof needed to expose the conspiracy to the Genesis Council.

Cycle II · Edict 3347

Liberation and revenge

During the final battle outside Arcanum, Noctarion recovered and freed Astraia’s rune. With her power restored, she used the Dimensional Blade to erase Voltanis from existence.

She then joined the attempt to capture Viridar, raising a dimensional prison that the traitor escaped only by sacrificing much of her own essence.

Judgment and atonement

After Ragnarok, Astraia sent the Abrogators back to Malevolence and the Shade Weavers back to Nyxalor, placing long-lasting spatial barriers over both peoples.

She then confessed before the Genesis Council and mortal representatives in the Hall of Truth. Her right to take part in Council decisions was removed, and she was sentenced to forty thousand Edicts of atonement, beginning with confinement at the Aetherium Nexus and the repair of damaged spatial laws.
