Cycle II · Edict 1301–1450

The First Celestial War

After Vorlag’s death, Solara rallied the surviving Aeterna and Chroniclers into the Harmonious Vanguard and opposed Voltanis’s Sundering Host.

At the war’s climax she fought Voltanis among the ruins of Veridia. Their powers of Order and Chaos ended in a brutal stalemate, but Solara later led the wider Aeterna offensive that broke his army. The cost of that victory—and the devastation around it—changed how she understood the use of power.

Cycle II · Edict 1451–3000

Schism and seclusion

Solara increasingly rejected Valitra’s belief that Order justified coercive rule over mortals. She led her followers away from the mortal world to the Genesis Atoll and established Aethelgard Prime as a place devoted to guardianship rather than domination.

She also believed her earlier duel had shown her something dangerous in Voltanis that others had missed, and she repeatedly tried to warn the Genesis Council about the destructive nature behind his cause.

Cycle II · Edict 3251–3347

The turning point of Ragnarok

Solara initially kept the diminished Aeterna out of the new war to protect their surviving population. As the crisis deepened, she abandoned that restraint and infiltrated Khaosgard using a Chaos transport fleet.

In the dungeons she found the imprisoned Astraia and received the token that proved Voltanis and Viridar had deceived the Council. Solara carried that evidence to the Genesis Council, prompting the descent of the Tier Five gods and changing the course of the war.

Return to Aethelgard Prime

Solara attended Astraia’s trial as a representative of mortals and lesser deities. When Ordinus opened the way to Aethelos for mortal refugees, Solara did not follow them.

She led the Aeterna back to Aethelgard Prime and resumed the older duty of guarding Order from a distance rather than ruling the mortal peoples directly.
