Guardians of the Elder Weave
The Chroniclers are one of Aethelgard’s five major Celestial powers and belong to the Third Tier: Arcane & Conduit Magic, the Elder Weave. Their philosophy treats the Weave as a structure that must be understood, protected and stabilised rather than consumed without restraint.
Their characteristic applications therefore emphasise permanent wards, controlled conduits, restoration and the careful management of magical currents. The Chroniclers are not simply stronger Magicians; Third Tier practice means interacting with the underlying network that makes lesser magic possible. Their place in the cosmic order is defined as much by stewardship and knowledge as by raw power.
