Historical account
A city already hollowed out
Concordia entered the final phase of the war with little of its old unity left. Aeterna rule had displaced its civic government, major communities had departed, and the city’s Magician leadership collapsed into destructive internal conflict around Edict 3330. Forces that might once have defended the delta were scattered across other fronts while Concordia burned from within.
The sack of 3347
A large Orc warband, carrying the memory of its people’s ancient expulsion from Concordia, advanced from the east as the city weakened. In Edict 3347 the Orcs breached and sacked the almost undefended capital. Buildings were destroyed, residents were killed or driven out, and the City of Harmony ceased to function as a civilisation. The strategic river delta remained, but Concordia itself had become a ruin.
Historical significance
What changed here
This is Concordia’s final fall: not another change of government, but the end of the city itself. The ruins left behind become the ground on which Havenstone will be founded during the Silent Years.
